New School Year Rapidly Approaching 

A new school year is rapidly approaching. The classrooms and teachers in northeast Mexico are woefully under resourced and are in desperate need of school supplies so the children can receive a proper education. The children often go without school supplies making it extremely difficult for them to learn even fundamental skills like reading, writing and math so that they can better themselves. School supplies are going to be on sale soon so won't you consider buying some extra supplies when you shop so that we can give the children in Mexico a fighting chance to improve their quality of life. 

A basic set of school supplies includes the following:

• 10 sheets of construction paper
• 1 spiral notebook
• 5 #2 wooden pencils
• 3 pens either black or blue
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 1 eraser
• 1 pencil sharpener
• 1 blunt scissors
• 1 glue stick
• 1 ruler
